John Marshall who has recently been appointed landlord of the King's Head, also owns this harbourside restaurant and tearoom.

Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen - Branch opened this year to serve the needs of visiting fishing crew following the upgrading of Southwold Harbour and the building of the Fish Market across the road. There has been plans to open a pub here in line with most other major UK fishing ports. But there has been local resistance.
 



 



 

 

1953

The tearoom/restaurant today has been converted into two beach homes. The only recognisable features remaining are the rooflights and the finials on the corner posts of the front wall. See below.
